The Iranian Canadian Lawyers' Association (ICLA) is a legal advocacy group that was formed in November 2002 by a group of like-minded lawyers and law students of Iranian heritage. The establishment of ICLA was in part a necessary corollary of the burgeoning community of lawyers of Iranian heritage throughout Canada.
Over the last two years, ICLA's membership has grown from its founding Toronto members to now a membership of over 60 legal professionals and law students throughout Canada. ICLA's members represent a diverse group of professionals and law students throughout Canada. We are very proud to advise that lawyer members of ICLA have forged legal careers in private practice, government and academia.

ICLA has two primary objectives:
- to promote and advocate on behalf of lawyers and law students of Iranian heritage; and
- to raise public awareness in and provide a forum for discussion on issues affecting the Iranian Canadian community.
