  • Firoozeh Rose Bahrami
    Firoozeh Rose Bahrami is the founder of Bahrami Law Office. As a qualified Canadian lawyer, she provides clients with knowledgeable and efficient legal advice on a variety of issues. Her main practice areas are Immigration, real estate, and business law. In addition to her legal work, she is currently the president of the Iranian Canadian Lawyers Association and has professional affiliation with many professional and community organizations. She has also written articles and appeared on TV discussing legal issues. Ms. Bahrami obtained her Bachelor of Science (B.SC.) in Biology and Professional Writing from the University of Toronto and a bachelor of laws (LL.B.) from the University of Ottawa. She is also a member of the following professional organizations:

  • Maryam Chegini
    Maryam Chegini obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts (Hon. B.A.) from the University of Toronto in Political Science, Philosophy and Near and Middle Eastern Studies, she obtained her Masters of Arts (M.A.) from the University of Toronto in Political Theory and Middle Eastern Studies. Her interest in the European Union led her to study law at Nottingham Law School in the United Kingdom, where she obtained her LL.B, specializing in commercial real estate and corporate law. Since graduating from law school she has worked for the Ontario Realty Corporation in the in-house legal department and currently works for CB Richard Ellis Global Corporate Services on the Royal Bank of Canada account. In her free time Maryam volunteers for various non-profit organizations and educates the youth on the substance of the law.

  • Mehran Yazdani
    Mehran Yazdani is an Ontario disability lawyer specializing in long-term disability litigation. Mehran also practices personal injury law and commercial litigation. Mehran obtained his undergraduate degree at McMaster University and obtained his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2003. After his call to the bar of Ontario in 2004, he practiced as a litigator with Lang Michener LLP, a national business law firm, and as an in-house lawyer for RBC Insurance.

  • Babak Vakili
    After receiving his B.A. from York University in French and Political Science, Mr. Babak Vakili decided to pursue law school. Mr. Vakili's interest to practice law in the U.S.A. led him to Thomas M. Cooley law school in Michigan where he was awarded a merit scholarship. After graduating with a J.D., Mr. Vakili secured a position at 20th Century Fox in Los Angeles, in the legal and business affairs department. After nearly one year of dealing with music licensing projects, Mr. Vakili decided to return to his hometown of Toronto. He recently completed the NCA exams for foreign educated lawyers and will commence articling in the summer of 2009.

  • Negar Achtari
    Negar Achtari is a sole practitioner and practices law in Ottawa, Ontario. Her practice is restricted to American and Canadian immigration law. She provides legal services in English, French and Persian. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Canada chapter (AILA) and a former member of the County of Carlton Law Association (CCLA). Called to the NY bar in 1998 and to the Ontario bar in 2003, she received her law degree (Licence en droit Français) from Université de Lausanne, Switzerland, in 1995. In 1996, she graduated from Widener University (Delaware, USA) with a Masters degree (LL.M.) in Corporate law and finance. She obtained her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa in 2002. She was admitted to practice before the Eastern and Southern District Court of New York in 2000.

    Negar assists her clients with a variety of immigration matters. She prepares submissions and presents applications on behalf of her clients to Canadian and US visa posts, Canada-US land borders under the NAFTA treaty, US service centers and Canadian processing centers. She appears before the Federal court of Canada; Immigration and Refugee Board, as well as other Canadian and US immigration authorities. Negar has been interviewed by CBC radio Canada and is a regular guest speaker on Chin Radio's Hamseda program. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Canadian Lawyers Association (ICLA), an advocacy group in Toronto.

  • Alham Chelehmalzadeh
    Alham is a dual citizen of US and Canada graduating with a Master of Laws in Graduate Taxation from Boston University Law School, a J.D. from Western New England College, School of Law in 2008, and a Hon. B.A. Psychology and professional writing from University of Toronto. During her interim at BU Law School she focused in estate planning and executive compensation. Alham was an active member of her Law School's Moot Court teams, both competing and coaching the Negotiations teams, as well as participating in the American Bar Association's Tax Challenge in 2008. Currently Alham is a free lance US Tax Consultant in Toronto.
